Position Details:

• Location: South Florida Baptist Hospital, 302 North Park Avenue, Plant City, FL 33563

• Status: Fulltime

• Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

• On Call: Yes

• Always in person

Summary:

The Procedural RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards

• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team

• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization

• RN also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

This position requires a minimum of two years RN experience. At least 1 year RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU, or Critical Care is preferred. Endoscopy RN experience is strongly preferred as this is an Endoscopy position.

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RN (Registered Nurse)

• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department

• Preferred Nurse Specialty

Education:

• Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing

• Preferred Bachelor's Nursing

Experience:

• Required 2 years RN experience

• Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship.

• Clinical skills appropriate to position

• Interpersonal skills
