This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for an accounting specialist who enjoys working across core financial functions, contributing to accurate reporting, and helping keep daily accounting operations running smoothly. The role offers hands-on involvement in close activities, reconciliations, reporting, and broader accounting support in an onsite environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger through accurate recording, analysis, and follow-up on outstanding accounting items.

  • Prepare and post journal entries while supporting account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies as they arise.

  • Handle key accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice review, billing support, and transaction tracking.

  • Complete bank and balance sheet reconciliations to verify accuracy and support well-documented financial records.

  • Produce financial reports and assist with analysis that supports management visibility into business performance.

  • Provide broad accounting support across day-to-day operations, responding to issues with a practical and focused approach.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders and assist with audit-related requests by organizing records and supplying required documentation.

Requirements • At least 4 years of progressive accounting experience in a detail-oriented business environment.

  • Hands-on experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, and journal entry preparation.

  • Strong background in account reconciliation and bank reconciliation activities.

  • Proficiency with NetSuite and advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
