Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Topology Planning is looking for a Supply Chain Manager, North America (NA) Topology Planning who has experience in analytical skills, supply chain knowledge, and technology experience to join our team. In this position, the individual will own mid to long term topology strategy, short and long term build plan management, and topology optimization engine for AMZL delivery stations planning. This position requires working with multiple stakeholders across various supply chain functions like North America transportation, engineering, launch, finance, operations, sales and operation planning. This role is a high visibility role as it requires regular interaction with leadership team and involves in critical decision making. In this position, the Senior Supply Chain Manager, NA Topology Planning develops and implements ideas to drive continuous improvement by simplifying the process, creating additional value, and driving automation.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own mid-term topology strategy in operations planning and monthly topology planning cycles

  • Build plan management and network portfolio management

  • Build and improve topology optimization engine for Amazon delivery station planning

  • Work with multiple stakeholders across various supply chain functions like outbound transportation, engineering, launch, finance, operations, sales and operation planning

  • Develop and implement ideas to drive continuous improvement by simplifying the process, creating additional value, and driving automation

  • Identify opportunities and influence organizations to gain support and overcome resistance with data and persuasion

  • Deliver end-to-end technology and operations projects, working through obstacles along the way

  • Communicate expectations and requirements equally well with business and technology teams

  • Write well-reasoned and data-driven proposals

  • Perform data analysis and utilize problem-solving skills to work through difficult challenge

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • 2+ years of supply chain experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
