This is a temporary position covering a leave of absence. The assignment is expected to run from November 2, 2026 through January 4, 2027, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs and the returning employee's timeline. The role is fully in-house and sits within the Marketing team.
SET THE COURSE
As the temporary Digital Marketing Manager, you will step in to maintain continuity across our digital marketing programs while a member of our team is on parental leave. You will manage two key external partners — our digital advertising agency and our affiliate marketing agency — overseeing campaign execution, spend, and performance across both relationships. You'll act as the primary internal point of contact for these agencies, ensuring campaigns stay on track, budgets and reporting are accurate, and ongoing initiatives don't lose momentum during the transition. This role works cross-functionally with marketing, creative services, merchants, and eCommerce, and reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing (interim) for the duration of the assignment.
BE THE ISLAND GUIDE
-
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for our external digital advertising agency, overseeing SEM, paid social, and display campaigns.
-
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for our external affiliate marketing agency, overseeing affiliate program performance, partner relationships, and payouts.
-
Lead campaign planning and submit briefs for digital marketing campaigns already in flight or scheduled to launch during the coverage period.
-
Track performance against goals for both agencies, offer constructive feedback, and drive continuous optimization.
-
Manage digital marketing budgets across both agency relationships: forecast spend, track and process invoices, and reconcile monthly budgets.
-
Analyze campaign and affiliate program performance, flagging risks or opportunities to leadership.
-
Maintain the digital marketing calendar so it stays aligned with broader marketing initiatives and business objectives.
-
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (merchants, creative, eCommerce) to keep digital strategies aligned with key priorities during the transition.
-
Traffic and approve ads before they go live; ensure campaign deadlines are met and provide recaps to key stakeholders.
-
Maintain cohesive brand messaging across all digital touchpoints managed by both agencies.
-
Provide a clear handoff of status, open items, and priorities at the end of the assignment to support a smooth transition back to the returning employee.
-
Flexible for other duties as needed to support the overall business during the coverage period.
ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE
-
4-year degree with Marketing focus preferred, or equivalent experience
-
Generally 5+ years of e-commerce and digital marketing experience, in-house or agency-side
-
Proven experience managing external agency or vendor partners, ideally including both paid media and affiliate/partnership programs
-
Technical proficiency in marketing platforms and tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO tools, affiliate networks, and Analytics)
-
Comfortable stepping into an established program and getting up to speed quickly with minimal onboarding time
-
Strong data-driven decision-making, with experience in performance analysis and reporting
-
Solid understanding of paid search, paid social, programmatic, and affiliate channels
-
Familiarity with web analytics terminology and reporting; Adobe Analytics a plus
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-
Ability to manage multiple external relationships and deadlines simultaneously
-
Comfortable working independently in a time-boxed, interim capacity
-
Effective collaboration and hand-off skills, for both starting and closing out the assignment cleanly
Note: This is a temporary position intended to provide coverage during a leave of absence. The assignment is currently scheduled for November 2, 2026, through January 4, 2027, and may be extended based on business needs. The statements herein describe the general nature of the work to be performed and are not an exhaustive list of duties.
Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.
Pay Range: 107,700.00 – 135,000.00 USD Annual
