Senior Staff Accountant

Description

The Senior Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, preparing account reconciliations, and assisting with financial reporting and analysis. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, budgeting efforts, and strategic financial initiatives while working closely with accounting leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.

• Analyze general ledger activity and investigate financial variances.

• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules for management review.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

• Assist with internal and external audit requests and documentation.

• Review accounting processes and recommend efficiency improvements.

• Maintain accounting records, policies, and procedural documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 3+ years of relevant accounting experience

• Background in public accounting and CPA or CPA track is preferred.

• Ability to perform effectively in a complex, growing, and fast-moving business environment.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
