Recording the patient's history 2. Giving medication as prescribed by the physician 3. Taking vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight 4. Basic wound care including cleaning and bandaging injured areas 5. Giving injections of medications 6. Providing immunizations 7. Entering information into computer systems 8. Ensuring patients and families understand release instructions 9. Providing oversight to Nursing Assistive Personnel (NAP) 10. Monitoring fluid/food intake and output 11. Moving patients safely 12. Observing patient reactions to medications 13. Observing patient mental health status 14. Providing emotional support 15. Assisting with daily needs such as bathing and dressing 16.
