Job Duties
Top Requirements:
6+ months of Operations Support experience or equivalent work experience.
Lockbox processing experience or experience handling financial documents/payments.
Strong 10-key numerical data entry skills.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow established procedures.
Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity in a fast-paced operational environment.
Plusses:
Experience in banking, payment processing, remittance, or lockbox operations.
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with document-processing systems.
Experience operating document scanning, sorting, or processing equipment.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing business priorities and workload volumes.
Job Summary:
This Operations Processor 1 role supports daily operational processing activities within a structured, high-volume production environment. The position is responsible for processing and organizing documents, supporting lockbox operations, performing data entry activities, and ensuring operational tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and experience handling financial documents or transaction processing. Success in this role requires accuracy, flexibility, and the ability to maintain productivity while meeting established service-level expectations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Perform routine operational processing and support activities.
Capture, sort, scan, distribute, and process documents using operational equipment and established procedures.
Prepare and organize documents for downstream processing and imaging workflows.
Perform 10-key numerical data entry and data validation activities.
Support lockbox processing operations and payment-related workflows.
Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with operational standards.
Escalate questions, discrepancies, and issues to supervisors as appropriate.
Maintain production deadlines while adhering to quality and accuracy standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure workflow efficiency and operational success.
Identify opportunities for process improvements within established procedures.
