.NET Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a .NET Developer to support and enhance both legacy and modern application systems. This role requires a strong background in .NET development, particularly working with legacy C# / Visual Basic systems, as well as modern development practices. The ideal candidate is a high quality, productive developer who can independently analyze requirements, estimate effort, execute development tasks, and provide consistent progress updates.

Skills and Requirements

C# / .NET / .NET Core — strong backend development experience, ideally modern .NET versions Microservices architecture — design, development, deployment, and support of independently deployable services RESTful API development — API design, versioning, authentication, error handling, and integration patterns MuleSoft integration experience — integrating .NET services with MuleSoft APIs and enterprise systems API-led integration concepts — understanding of system, process, and experience APIs SQL / relational databases — strong SQL development, troubleshooting, data validation, and performance tuning Azure experience, particularly: Azure App Service Azure Functions Azure SQL Application Insights Azure Key Vault Authentication and authorization — OAuth/OIDC, tokens, API security, and identity integration JSON/XML and asynchronous integration patterns Production support and troubleshooting — root-cause analysis across applications, APIs, MuleSoft integrations, and databases Logging and monitoring for distributed applications and APIs Git/GitHub and CI/CD experience Ability to work independently from requirements and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and production support Strong communication skills working across application, integration, infrastructure, and business teams Healthcare, billing, claims, or other high-volume transaction-processing experience Experience modernizing legacy or monolithic applications into microservices Event-driven or message-based architectures API performance, resiliency, retry, timeout, and fault-handling patterns Secure coding and application-security practices Agile/Scrum delivery Experience with mobile or patient-facing application integrations
