Full job description

The Sales Pursuit Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering end-to-end marketing programs to support key sales opportunities with clients in the Americas. This individual will work closely with sales teams to identify Accenture’s competitive positioning, win themes, and overarching messaging for both sole-source opportunities and competitive RFP responses. This individual should excel at storytelling; taking complex business solutions and developing easy-to-understand stories that showcase the clients’ business challenge and Accenture’s capabilities in simple and relatable language.

Key Objectives:

  • Ensure prioritized deals receive GO Marketing support early to best influence the deal by collaborating on prioritization of the pipeline with market unit sales lead.

  • Increase marketing differentiation across the sales lifecycle (Stage 0 – 3b).

  • Enhance client perception of Accenture, differentiate Accenture from competitors, and create preference for our services and assets.

  • Enable the business to help grow client relationships and conversations via social and digital channels.

  • Increase efficiency and effectiveness of programs by applying best practice techniques and bringing innovation.

  • Create industrialized, re-usable framework, assets and tools to improve speed to market while reducing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with Creative, Digital and other support teams and collaborators, lead the marketing strategy, messaging and creative marketing solutioning for some of Accenture’s most important deals including:

  • Facilitate messaging sessions with deal teams

  • Make the complex simple, creating client-focused messages and using their preferred channels to drive differentiation

  • Create compelling stories that bring together the clients’ challenge, industry context, Accenture recommendation and client value proposition into an easily understood and memorable narration

  • Develop/implement creative ways to tell the ‘one Accenture’ story.

  • Manage multiple pursuits and stakeholders across various timelines.

Job Requirements: Travel domestically and / or internationally, as needed 10% of the time or less

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in B2B Marketing Sales Pursuit and/or Account-Based marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B2B Professional services experience

  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end programs to support sales opportunities throughout the entire pursuit life cycle

  • Solid Program management

  • Proven experience in storytelling

  • Proven experience in Marketing strategy development and planning

  • Proven experience in message and sales campaign development

  • Strong written, content development and oral communication skills

  • Ability to develop and apply creative and innovative solutions to complex issues

  • Broad overall business acumen, industry knowledge, knowledge of Accenture's areas of business

  • Understanding and ability to originate and apply marketing concepts

  • Ability to develop and apply creative solutions to complex issues

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
