Solutions Engineer - Remote

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Solutions Engineer for a top Managed Services and Professional Services client. This candidate will own customer technology projects from kickoff through completion, acting as the primary hands-on technical resource throughout the implementation lifecycle. They will lead cloud, infrastructure, networking, and Microsoft-focused migrations while partnering closely with Solution Architects and Project Managers to deliver high-quality solutions and successful customer outcomes.

Day-to-Day: Lead customer technology implementations from planning through completion Own cloud, infrastructure, networking, and Microsoft-focused migrations Partner with Project Managers, Solution Architects, clients, and internal teams Serve as the primary hands-on technical resource throughout implementations Troubleshoot technical issues and drive projects to successful completion Maintain technical documentation and overall project ownership Ensure projects meet quality, budget, and customer satisfaction expectations

Pay for this position is between 30 and 35 / HR

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of Systems, Infrastructure, Cloud, or Network Engineering experience, preferably within an MSP environment Proven ability to independently lead technical migrations and implementations from start to finish Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, and infrastructure technologies Experience serving as the primary technical resource on customer-facing projects Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and overall project ownership skills Must currently possess or obtain an approved certification within 180 days, such as AZ-305, CCNP, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, VCP, Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, FCSS in Network Security, or an accepted equivalent MSP, Professional Services, Consulting, or Project Engineering background Experience leading M365, Azure, server, application, Teams Phone, or network migrations Firewall deployment and switch refresh experience Infrastructure modernization experience Experience mentoring junior engineers Experience identifying automation opportunities
