Department: CIN Co JV Administration

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $39.32 - $62.90 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This is a hybrid position - approximately 50% remote and 50% onsite as work dictates.

Summary:

Responsible for oversight of the HCC Coding Analyst team and execution of coding policies, regulatory compliance, business planning, and strategic initiatives supporting accurate and complete risk adjustment coding across the provider network. Operates in a matrixed environment and leads coding activities, staff performance, and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

Leads and directs the HCC Coding Analyst team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, goal setting, and providing guidance to team members.

Develops, implements, and monitors coding policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely risk adjustment coding.

Manages retrospective review processes, vendor relationships and contracts, RADV audits, coding productivity, ROI analysis, and compliance oversight activities.

Collaborates with leadership and business partners to develop risk adjustment strategies, performance metrics, process improvements, coding education initiatives, and strategic projects.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

  • Certified Coding Specialist

  • Certified Professional Coder

  • Reg. Health Information Admin

  • Reg Health Info Technician

  • Certified Risk Coder

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • 6 years of Risk adjustment and HCC coding experience.

  • Preferred: Managerial and leadership experience.

  • Certified Coding Certification through the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) or the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC).
