In this role, you’ll be the on-site leader driving safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution while partnering closely with customers, subcontractors, operations, sales, and technical teams.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a construction leader who enjoys owning the full project lifecycle, solving problems in the field, and helping deliver critical power infrastructure for customers in growing markets such as electrical systems, industrial facilities, manufacturing, utilities, and data centers.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year.

Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, market data, and business considerations.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead full-cycle construction project delivery, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, risk management, and closeout.

  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for Eaton’s EESS work, coordinating with customers, subcontractors, vendors, internal teams, and other trades.

  • Review scope, technical requirements, timelines, and handoff details to identify risks, gaps, and execution needs early.

  • Use project management tools to track milestones, manage deliverables, monitor progress, and keep projects on schedule.

  • Lead project meetings and provide clear, timely communication to customers, stakeholders, and cross-functional Eaton teams.

  • Partner with District Operations to support job-site safety, cost control, change order management, issue resolution, and overall project performance.

  • Support process improvements, strategic initiatives, and team capability by sharing project management expertise and field best practices.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of progressive construction-management experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience.

  • This role is designated as a Regular Driver per Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy and requires a current, unrestricted driver’s license along with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Candidates will be subject to a motor vehicle record check upon hire.

  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H1B, H1-B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.

  • Relocation Assistance will be provided for candidates residing outside a 50 mile radius of Urbandale, IA or Cedar Rapids, IA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical engineering, engineering, architecture, or a related field.

  • Experience in electrical, industrial, manufacturing, data center, utilities/power, heavy civil, or other complex construction environments.

  • Electrical construction or commissioning experience when directly relevant to immediate project needs.

  • Demonstrated accountability for project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, safety, quality, and client communication.

  • Demonstrated ownership of construction projects from planning and mobilization through execution, commissioning, closeout, and turnover.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Procore, Primavera P6, cost-control tools, or comparable construction-management software used by the team.

  • PMP, Commissioning Agent, CCM, OSHA 30, or comparable construction/project-management certification.
