Part Time Handy Man

Pro Fix, LLC is growing, and we're looking for a dependable, hardworking person to join our team as a Part-Time Handyman / Home Repair Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in doing a job the right way, and wants to be part of a growing local company. Previous handyman, construction, maintenance, or home repair experience is preferred, but it is not required. We?re willing to train the right person who is reliable, motivated, willing to learn, and has a strong work ethic. Schedule This position will initially be part-time, with work primarily scheduled two days per week. ( Tues & Thursday preferably) There is potential to grown into Full Time. Experience is helpful, but reliability, attitude, and willingness to learn matter just as much. The ideal candidate is: Reliable and punctual Must be able to speak, read and write fluent English Ability to lift 50+lbs Comfortable on your feet for most of the day Comfortable working with their hands and using basic tools Able to follow instructions and learn new skills Comfortable working independently once trained Professional and respectful when working in customers' homes a must Detail-oriented and willing to do things the right way Comfortable handling a variety of smaller repair and maintenance projects Previous handyman, carpentry, maintenance, construction, or trade experience is a plus, but not required High School diploma or equivalent As Pro Fix continues to grow, there is potential for additional days and for this position to eventually become full-time. What You'll Be Doing Pro Fix primarily handles smaller interior home repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects. Every day can look a little different. Projects may include: General home repairs and maintenance Small carpentry and repair projects Drywall repairs and patching Installing shelving, hardware, fixtures, and other household items Doors, trim, molding, and minor adjustments Punch-list projects and miscellaneous homeowner repairs Helping troubleshoot and complete smaller projects around the home Assisting with larger interior projects when needed Keeping work areas clean, organized, and respectful of the customer's home There may occasionally be smaller exterior projects or repairs, but this is not a position focused on decks, siding, roofing, or large exterior construction projects. What We're Looking For: You don't need to know how to do everything on day one. We're looking for someone who is dependable, willing to learn, and takes pride in the quality of their work. Pay $23.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level. Candidates with little or no professional experience are welcome to apply. Starting pay will reflect experience, with opportunities for increased pay and responsibilities as skills develop. Service Area Most work will be in Haverhill, North Andover, and surrounding communities. Why Pro Fix?
