Full job description
Description We are looking for a Data Integration Specialist to support enterprise data connectivity, reporting, and analytics for a complex Epicor Kinetic environment in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This Long-term Contract position focuses on building dependable data flows, strengthening reporting foundations, and enabling trusted business insights across connected systems. The role partners with cross-functional teams to improve data architecture, maintain secure integrations, and support scalable platforms used for operational and executive decision-making.
Responsibilities:

Create, deploy, and support data integrations linking Epicor Kinetic with internal platforms, external applications, and third-party business tools.

Develop and maintain APIs, ETL routines, automated workflows, and data pipelines that ensure consistent and efficient information exchange.

Assist with data migration and synchronization efforts related to system deployments, version upgrades, and acquired business entities.

Track integration performance, troubleshoot failures, and resolve data flow bottlenecks or accuracy issues affecting business operations.

Design and refine data models that provide a reliable foundation for enterprise reporting, analytics, and downstream consumption.

Build and optimize extraction processes from Epicor Kinetic to improve data availability for warehouse, lake, and Fabric-based environments.

Support enterprise data platforms, including Data Warehouse, Microsoft Fabric, and Data Lake solutions, to maintain accessibility and performance.

Prepare and maintain curated datasets used in Power BI dashboards, executive reporting, and operational analysis.

Establish data quality checks, investigate root causes of information issues, and implement corrective actions to improve trust in reporting.

Contribute to master data governance practices and recommend effective integration patterns and data architecture standards. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or advanced education in Information Technology or a closely related field.

Epicor technical certification with hands-on knowledge of Epicor Kinetic data structures, APIs, and reporting capabilities.

At least 5 years of experience in ERP systems, data integration, business intelligence, or closely aligned technical roles.

Minimum 2 years of experience supporting Epicor Kinetic reporting with a strong understanding of the Kinetic data model.

Demonstrated success designing and supporting enterprise integrations, ETL processes, and data architecture solutions.

Experience delivering reporting, analytics, and data platform solutions using tools such as Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

Background working in manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution environments, ideally within global implementations or rollouts.

Ability to create and maintain ERDs and data architecture models, with strong communication skills for working across business and technical teams. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
