Full job description

Ad Ops Campaign Specialist

  • Brand Partnerships
  • New York
  • Intermediate
  • Full-time

Description We're on the hunt for a detail-obsessed Ad Ops Campaign Specialist to join our Ad Operations team and keep our direct and programmatic campaigns flying. As our Campaign Captain, you'll own campaigns from the moment Sales closes them to the moment the final report goes out: setup and trafficking in our ad servers, pacing, live optimization, troubleshooting, QA, and reporting. You're the operational engine that turns a signed deal into a campaign that launches on time and hits its KPIs. So if you stay calm when delivery dips mid-flight, can't resist chasing a discrepancy down to its root cause, and like working with Sales, clients, and partners to fix it fast, this quest is totally yours.

Responsibilities

  • Own campaign setup and trafficking across our ad servers for direct and programmatic campaigns, working from the Monday board and the media plan
  • Monitor pacing and performance, and continuously optimize live campaigns to hit their KPIs
  • Troubleshoot delivery and technical issues in real time, coordinating with Sales, clients, SSPs, DSPs, and technical teams
  • QA creatives and tags to make sure campaigns execute and measure correctly
  • Proactively assess inventory availability and flag delivery risks before they become misses
  • Produce reporting, insights, and live-campaign screenshots for internal and external stakeholders

Salary range: $90K - $120K USD

Requirements

  • 3+ years of ad ops experience across video and display, as an ad trafficker, campaign manager, or ad ops specialist at a publisher, ad network, SSP, or DSP
  • Hands-on experience with GAM360 and Aniview, plus SSPs and DSPs (for example The Trade Desk, Magnite) and verification and measurement tools (DCM, IAS, DV)
  • Working knowledge of VAST/VPAID, RTB, GDPR, IVT, and brand safety standards
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • Based in New York (office commutable), working standard EST business hours

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with DMPs such as ArcSpan, Permutive, or Audigent
  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including building GAM custom templates
  • Can read a VAST error the way a ranger reads tracks: one glance, and you know what went wrong and where
