We’re looking for a Full Stack Application Engineer to join our Finance Technology team. You’ll help build and operate business-critical applications that connect Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing, supporting hardware development and production from planning and procurement through inventory, costing, and financial reporting.

This is an end-to-end engineering role where you’ll work with experienced engineers and business partners to turn operational needs into reliable software. You’ll contribute across the development lifecycle from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and production support while growing your knowledge of enterprise systems and finance and manufacturing workflows.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop, test, deploy, and support secure and scalable web applications and services used by Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
  • Deliver well-defined features across the full stack, including user interfaces, APIs, business logic, data models, integrations, and automated tests.
  • Help develop and maintain integrations among ERP, MRP, MES, PLM, warehouse, procurement, finance, and analytics platforms using APIs, events, and batch processing.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Monitor application health, investigate issues, and contribute to improvements in performance, reliability, and operational support.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and documentation to maintain high engineering standards.
  • Learn from teammates, share knowledge, and contribute to an inclusive and collaborative engineering culture.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Full-stack development skills using JavaScript or TypeScript and experience with a modern front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Experience developing backend services or APIs using a language such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.
  • Understanding of software design fundamentals, data structures, object-oriented programming, web application architecture, and common integration patterns.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, relational databases, SQL, and integrations with SaaS or enterprise platforms.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into maintainable technical solutions with guidance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in learning unfamiliar technologies and business domains.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and non-engineering partners.
  • A sense of ownership for the quality, reliability, and user experience of the software you build.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of full-stack application or software engineering experience after earning a bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree in a technical field plus 1+ year of post-graduate full-stack engineering experience; or a PhD in a relevant technical field.
  • Experience developing full-stack web applications through professional work, internships, significant projects, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hands-on experience with a modern front-end framework, backend development, relational databases, and APIs.
  • Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing, security, maintainability, performance, and source control.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or familiarity with finance, ERP, MRP, MES, PLM, warehouse management, procurement, or supply-chain applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD, containers, monitoring, or production application support.
  • Understanding of secure application development, access controls, data validation, and auditable system design.
  • Interest in using automation and AI-assisted capabilities responsibly to improve business workflows and engineering productivity.
  • Passion for Snap products and for building tools that help teams do their best work.
