SAS Systems Administrator – Mainframe

SAS Mainframe Administrator Position Overview

Support SAS environments running on Mainframe systems, with responsibilities spanning SAS version and license upgrades, deployment audits, ticket support, and engagement with SAS users. This role requires strong knowledge of SAS deployments on Mainframe and IBM Mainframe Administration, along with knowledge of the client Mainframe systems and associated Mainframe access requirements.

What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities

• Support SAS on Mainframe systems.

• Handle SAS version upgrades.

• Handle annual SAS license upgrades.

• Conduct audits of SAS deployments on Mainframe.

• Monitor and respond to ServiceNow tickets for the SAS workgroup.

• Engage with SAS users when necessary.

• Work with the team during scheduled change windows.

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of SAS (Statistical Analysis Systems) Software.

• Knowledge of IBM Mainframe Administration.

• Experience with SAS deployments on Mainframe.

• Knowledge of the client Mainframe systems.

• Understanding of client system access for Mainframe.

• Availability for occasional evenings and weekends for change windows.
