Electronic Technician II - Emergency Communications

Much of the work is diagnostic, and involves the use of specialized instruments, and may be performed under emergency conditions. Installation - Installs, inspects and repairs mobile radios, mobile vehicle recorders and mobile data devices - Facilitate in the repair and installation of equipment in emergency vehicles. Bench Repairs - Repairs electronic devices with the aid of specialized tools such as a multi meter, watt meter and soldering iron - Calibrate electronic devices with the aid of specialized instruments such as a oscilloscope, channel analyzer and spectrum analyzer System Maintenance - Maintain Sedgwick Countys 800 MHz radio system through monitoring, diagnosing and repairing radio equipment Applicants have rights under Federal Employment Laws.
