Test and Validation Technician

Work location - Lockport, NY Your Contribution: As a Validation Lab Technician, reporting to the Head of AC Testing - NA, you will be responsible for conducting performance and durability testing of automotive HVAC and engine cooling components. Duties include installation/removal of test parts, instrumentation, running tests, and collecting data. Works with engineers to understand test requirements. Execute performance and durability testing for automotive HVAC and thermal management components. Monitor, collect, and validate critical test data to ensure accurate performance evaluation. Operate and maintain advanced laboratory test benches and computerized testing systems. Troubleshoot test equipment, HVAC refrigerant systems, and component failures to support efficient testing. Partner with engineers to execute test plans, analyze results, and support product validation activities. Other duties and responsabilties may be required. Your Experience & Qualifications: Degree Qualified. 3-5 years automotive experience desirable. ASE certification desirable. EPA 608 certification desirable. Strong mechanical aptitude.
