Structural Welder/Fabricator - 2nd Shift

Pay Rate: $26-$38+hour (Based on Expereience) Shift Schedule: 1st Shift: 4 Day Work Week // Monday-Thursday (4:30am-3pm) 2nd Shift: 4 Day Work Week // Monday-Thursday (3pm-1:30am) Weekend Shift: 3 Day Work Week // Friday-Sunday (6:30am-7pm) At ZJ, our values drive everything we do: People First. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES * Position, fit-up, layout, cut, and weld materials according to shop drawings and specifications * Interpret and apply AWS welding symbols and fabrication standards * Read and understand Bills of Material (BOMs) to identify required materials and components * Perform detailed quality inspections in accordance with AWS D1.1 standards * Safely operate fabrication tools and equipment including torches, grinders, air arc equipment, and overhead cranes * Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all company safety procedures and PPE requirements * Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Ability to pass an AWS 2G flux core multi-pass weld test on a one-inch plate * Experience with multi-pass flux core wire feed welding * Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds * Capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing throughout the workday * Skilled in the use of hand tools and measuring equipment * Strong attention to detail, quality, and workplace safety * Willingness to work mandatory weekday overtime and voluntary Saturday overtime as needed DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS * One (1+) year of welding and/or fabrication experience * Experience in structural steel or heavy manufacturing environments * Familiarity with fabrication prints, fit-up, and structural welding processes What we can offer you: * Inclusive Medical, Dental, Vision, Accident, and Illness insurance * Company paid Disability and Life insurance * Health Savings Account contribution of up to $1,000 per year * 401(k) retirement savings program with a company contribution * Employee Assistance Program including discounts with major vendors & products * Mental and physical wellness programs * Time off package including vacation, sick, and holiday pay * Annual Bonus opportunities * Career advancement opportunities with a stable well-established organization * Tools provided by the company Top performers in this role can advance into lead welder, fitter, or production leadership positions as the team continues to grow.
