Full job description
TITLE: Physical Therapist LOCATION: Jefferson-Lewis BOCES with initial assignment in a Component District or Center-based classroom in Jefferson or Lewis County RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Provide physical therapy services to students with disabilities as well as those identified as benefiting from service Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to therapy and learning. Record and report on student progress. Collaborate with colleagues in general education. Communicate regularly and effectively with parents. QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Licensed Physical Therapist Knowledge of the APTA Standards and Practices Knowledge of school-based therapy Experience with diagnostic tools Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience with remote therapy and Tele practice preferred COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $61,546. Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association.
