About the role

  • Organize and maintain matters, engagements and spend data to support accurate, reliable reporting

  • Help standardize and map data across different templates, systems and formats, including information provided by outside law firms

  • Support time-sensitive projects, including the annual law firm timekeeper rate review, through data analysis and stakeholder coordination

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and document processes to create sustainable improvements

  • Gain hands-on experience with how Legal Operations supports legal intake, outside law firm engagements, spend reporting and investor reporting

  • Build exposure to how Legal Operations partners with legal vendors and third-party technology providers

About you

Minimum qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in legal studies, business, information systems, data analytics or a related field

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data quality

  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience using AI tools, such as Claude or similar platforms, to analyze, clean or organize data

  • Coursework or experience in data analysis, information systems, business operations or process improvement

  • Familiarity with matter management, e-billing or other legal technology tools

  • Interest in legal operations, corporate legal work and technology-driven approaches to improving legal processes
