Schedule Details/Additional Information:
This position is exempt, working primarily on day shift but may be required to rotate rounding on off shifts and weekends and be available 24/7 for assigned areas and as administrator on call.
Pay Range: $68.20 - $102.30
Major Responsibilities:
- Coordination and administration of all operational aspects to ensure effective high quality care for patients.
- Development and implementation of strategic plans that integrate the goals of Advocate Health Care/South Suburban Hospital’s Mission, Values, and Philosophy.
- Lead strategic planning, marketing, and new service line/program development efforts for assigned service lines, both inpatient and outpatient programs, in collaboration with business development. Market and promote service in conjunction with other disciplines and departments.
- Development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards which follow quality management, DNV, IDPH, CMS, CDC, OSHA, and other external guidelines.
- Responsible for professional and personal growth and development.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and Masters Degree any field OR Bachelors Degree any field with a Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
- Minimum 5 years in healthcare leadership.
- Critical Care experience preferred.
- Nurse, Registered (RN)
Certification:
- Nurse Executive Certification and/or certification in specialty preferred (or within 2 years of hire into position)
