Full job description
Description We are looking for an experienced leader to oversee compensation and benefits strategy for a business group within a manufacturing environment in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. This role partners closely with HR and business leadership to align reward programs with organizational priorities while maintaining consistency across broader global frameworks. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, program leadership, and the ability to guide stakeholders through complex compensation decisions and evolving market conditions.
Responsibilities:

Shape and execute a total rewards approach that supports business objectives, with clear priorities and measurable outcomes for the assigned group.

Partner with HR leaders and business stakeholders to deliver compensation and incentive programs in alignment with enterprise standards and annual planning cycles.

Advise internal leadership teams on pay, incentives, and benefits matters, offering practical guidance grounded in business needs and policy requirements.

Drive alignment across reward programs by leading change initiatives, improving consistency, and recommending adjustments where local needs require adaptation.

Review market data and benchmarking information to assess competitiveness and provide informed recommendations for program enhancements.

Monitor regulatory developments, labor-related trends, and pay transparency considerations that may influence compensation strategy or program administration.

Serve as a point of escalation for complex reward decisions, including review and approval of key compensation actions.

Lead special projects and support broader strategic initiatives related to compensation, benefits, and total rewards operations.

Coach and develop team members, strengthening capability across compensation planning, program delivery, and stakeholder support. Requirements • Significant experience leading total rewards, compensation, or benefits programs within a complex corporate environment.

Strong knowledge of compensation administration, market analysis, benchmarking, and incentive plan design.

Demonstrated ability to work across global or multi-business structures while balancing standardization with local business needs.

Proficiency with Workday and related ERP tools used for compensation planning, reporting, and program administration.

Ability to interpret market trends, compensation survey data, and regulatory developments to support sound decision-making.

Strong communication and influencing skills, with experience advising senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Proven success managing multiple priorities, resolving escalations, and leading projects in a fast-paced setting.
