Job Description:
The Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS) is seeking a Member Engagement Specialist II to support membership programs, cohorts, events, and communications that connect Iowa businesses with CIRAS resources and opportunities.
This position will coordinate day-to-day activities for CIRAS membership programs, including the Iowa Lean Consortium, and serve as a primary point of contact for members. Responsibilities include supporting member onboarding and renewals, coordinating program and event logistics, maintaining membership and participation records, and helping connect members with relevant CIRAS programs and resources.
The Member Engagement Specialist II will also support CIRAS cohort programs and assist with communications and marketing activities, including newsletters, announcements, outreach materials, publications, and other content. This role works closely with CIRAS staff and program leadership to provide a consistent, positive experience for members and participants
Occasional statewide travel required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience coordinating programs, memberships, events, customer engagement, or similar activities.

Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Experience communicating with customers, members, participants, or other external audiences.
-
Experience developing, editing, proofreading, or distributing newsletters, announcements, marketing materials, or other communications.
-
Strong attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate records and program information.
-
Experience using a CRM, database, or similar system to manage customer, member, or participant information. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
