Summary of the Job:
The Sr. Developer, Technology is responsible for collaborating with the Delivery team to ensure the solutions developed will deliver value and improve the quality of the software. This includes partnering with other Developers and Tester on the Delivery team to define tasks and provide final estimates for User Stories.
As part of a technology delivery team practicing Agile and the Kanban methodology, you will work closely with peer developers, tester, and scrum master to provide development and technical support for the mainframe applications owned by the team. Following Agile practices, you will be an active participant in progressive elaboration, refinement and estimation sessions, as well as daily standups. You will collaborate with teammates, business partners and fellow IT colleagues to ensure the solutions delivered meet the expected value and align with customer expectations.
Works from high level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, software deployment, test and administration of mainframe applications. May also participate in upgrading or enhancing existing applications. Must have a solid background in application development, troubleshooting and support. Experienced in mainframe technologies including, but not limited to, COBOL, z/OS, CICS, and JCL.
About This Role:
Job Duties;

Participate in all Agile ceremonies.

Work with teammates and IT peers to develop/modify, test, implement and support mainframe applications. This includes providing on-going support to our internal business units who utilize these applications as part of their daily operations.

Provide support in the form of application functional knowledge, support documentation, system monitoring and production support (including off hours and weekend on-call support as necessary).
-
Ensure applications remain current, stable and compliant, and meet enterprise standards.
-
Familiarity with Hogan mainframe development.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
-
Minimum 5 years COBOL, z/OS, JCL, TSO, CICS experience
-
Experience in Hogan mainframe banking system development
-
Experience with Sort Utility software (i.e. DFSORT, SYNCSORT)
-
Experience with Scheduling, File Manager, File Transfer and Debug software
-
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
-
Keen attention to detail with focus on quality
-
Strong collaboration and communication skills
-
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly and positively
Additional Desired Experience:

Prior experience working with or supporting distributed software applications

Experience working in an Agile environment
-
Experience in banking/financial services industry
Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.
Compensation:
Compensation range (base pay): $89,828.00-$148,215.00
This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Work Environment:
It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
