About the Role
Join CBRE's Finance team supporting a high-profile clientin the financial services sector. In this highly visible role, you'll serve asa trusted financial partner, helping drive strategic business decisions throughforecasting, planning, reporting, and financial analysis. You'll collaborateclosely with client leadership and key stakeholders, delivering insights thatinfluence business performance and support long-term growth.
As a CBRE Finance Manager, you'll oversee annual budgeting,monthly forecasting, strategic planning, management reporting, and othercritical finance activities. You'll play a key role in ensuring financialaccuracy, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting operationaland strategic objectives.
This position is part of CBRE's Financial Strategy & Operationsfunction, which is responsible for maintaining financial controls, reportingstandards, and governance processes while enabling informed businessdecision-making.
Location & Travel:
For internal candidates, this position may be workedremotely with quarterly and occasional ad hoc travel to Kansas City. Externalcandidates should reside in or near the Kansas City area to support ongoingengagement with the client and business stakeholders.
What You’ll Do:

Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, strategicplanning, and management reporting activities for the client account.

Partner with client stakeholders and business leaders toprovide financial insights, influence decision-making, and support strategicobjectives.

Prepare and deliver recurring and ad hoc financialanalysis, reporting packages, forecasts, and presentations for seniorleadership and client stakeholders.

Identify financial risks, opportunities, and processimprovements, providing recommendations that drive business performance andoperational efficiency.

Lead, develop, and coach a team of finance professionals,providing performance feedback, career development support, and guidance todrive high levels of engagement and results.

Oversee day-to-day team operations, establish priorities,delegate responsibilities, and ensure deliverables are completed accurately andon schedule.

Review financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations,cash flow reporting, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy, completeness,and compliance with established controls.

Review and approve monthly journal entries and otheraccounting-related transactions.

Support the development, implementation, and maintenance offinancial policies, procedures, and governance standards.

Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance financialprocesses, reporting capabilities, and operational effectiveness.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex financial and operationalissues, recommending solutions that improve outcomes and support businessgoals.

What You’ll Need:
-
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business,Economics, or a related field preferred. In lieu of a degree, a combination ofeducation and relevant experience will be considered.

5+ years of progressive finance, accounting, FP&A, orrelated experience, including team leadership responsibilities.

Proven experience leading, developing, and coachinghigh-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical skills with experience working acrossmultiple large and complex data sets to identify trends, deliver insights, andsupport business decisions.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including theability to manipulate, analyze, and reconcile large volumes of data with a highdegree of accuracy.

Exceptional attention to detail with a demonstrated abilityto maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financialreporting, variance analysis, and financial planning processes.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, andcritical-thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues and recommendpractical solutions.

Ability to communicate complex financial informationclearly and effectively to a variety of stakeholders, including seniorleadership.

Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivateteams, drive accountability, and influence positive business outcomes.

Strong financial acumen, including the ability to performand interpret financial calculations, analyze results, and make data-drivenrecommendations.

Must be authorized to work in the United States withoutcurrent or future sponsorship requirements.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Finance Manager position is $110,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Finance Manager position is $120,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
