Associate Academic Advisor, College of Natural Sciences

Oversee Natural Sciences Advising Center survey and data collection processes or provide academic advising support for students in a CNS student program or community. This support may include drop-in advising sessions for students in the program, visiting that programs student seminar course(s), and liaising with the office that manages the student program. Present academic advising material through workshops, facilitate multiple sections of CNS Foundations Cornerstone seminars, and participate in new student orientation. Provide academic advising, as well as non-academic support and referrals, to students individually and in groups. Provide accurate and timely information on degrees, University resources, and long-term planning. Attend meetings, professional development and serve on committees as assigned. Support or lead office projects as needed. Other duties as assigned, including supporting special projects and staffing events within CNS.
