Location: Carmel, IN

As our Manager Market Settlements , you will help MISO by leading a team that delivers timely and accurate settlement statements to MISO's market participants. Your team ensures transactions worth billions of dollars between hundreds of market participants are accurately settled every day of the year.

You will also have the opportunity to work on enhancing the market settlements system to support the needs of the MISO market as the electricity grid goes through an unprecedented period of change.

What does success look like in this role? After one year as the Manager Market Settlements, success means leading a high-performing Market Settlements team that consistently produces accurate, timely, and compliant settlement outcomes; strengthening the team’s technical capabilities, cross-training, and development while establishing themselves as a trusted partner across Market Operations.

We are looking for hardworking professionals who have:

  • Five (5) or more years of previous electric utility industry or RTO experience

  • At least two (2) years of previous people leader experience

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics or related field

Appropriate level will be determined based upon experience and knowledge.

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $167,00.00 – $192,000.00 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.

Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met. At MISO we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k, vacation, sick and safe time, available on your first day of employment.
