For more information, please visit our website atwww.sunchemical.comor connect with us onLinkedInorTwitter Production Operator-Main Plant-Amelia-4/4 6am-630pm ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Operates production equipment to produce quality pigment dispersions in accordance with standardoperating procedures. * Operates within a defined area making support materials to contribute to the final productsmanufactured* Makes boxes, applies labels, moves skids of materials with material handling equipment * Cleans flooring, tanks, and equipment regularly* Interacts with other departments to share information for successful process flow* Adheres to strict work instruction details to comply with customer requirements* Complies with all safety procedures and safety training requirements* Includes monthly completion of Dupont training modules* Completion of cyber security modules, and any other company mandated training requirements* Reports immediately any potential unsafe area or act to leadership.* Communicates required information in all phases of production processes including but not limited to interactions with shipping and receiving, quality control, maintenance, leadership, human resource if necessary* Includes both verbal and written communications.* Operates material handling equipment including hoists and sit down and stand-up forklifts.* Must be able to lift 55lbs repeatedly* Must be able to meet all requirements as called out below for basic skills for language skills, reasoningskills, mathematical skills, and physical skills* Other duties as assigned REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * High School diploma or GED/equivalent Associates Degree is a plus * Maintain certification in operation on all 3 types of plant industrial trucks and elevated platforms. * Good verbal and written communication skills.* Basic skills in MS Office software; basic math skills POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: 4/4 Day Shift 6am-630pm BENEFITS We offer a range of market-competitive total rewards that include merit increases, paid holidays, Paid Time Off, medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability benefits, 401(k)+match and life insurance.
