Full job description

RGP is looking to hire a NetSuite Developer for one of our clients. This consultant will be on the Financial Systems team within the Enterprise Technology Group, you will play a critical role in supporting ERP migrations, building and maintaining system integrations, and ensuring the stability and scalability of our financial systems platform.

You will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and Technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, developing under the mentorship of the Associate Director. This is a hands-on technical role with high visibility, you will contribute directly to workstreams that are critical to the company's path to IPO, including chart of accounts standardization, financial reporting infrastructure, and multi-entity consolidation.

  • Location: New York, New York or Parsippany, NJ

  • Salary Range: $128,000 - $143,000

  • Develop, test, and deploy SuiteScript 2. customizations, including suitelets, user event scripts, scheduled scripts, map/reduce scripts, RESTlets, and workflow action scripts, to support financial workflows and automation.

  • Configure and maintain NetSuite environments across multiple subsidiaries, including custom records, saved searches, workflows, roles, and permissions.

  • Support ERP migration projects (D365 to NetSuite, NetSuite to NetSuite) by performing data loading, validation, entity setup, and cutover activities.

  • Build and maintain integrations between NetSuite and adjacent financial systems, including our homegrown Accounting Gateway (ACG), FloQast, Anaplan, BigQuery/Airflow, Ignite, and Adaptive, plus SFTP data feeds, using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware patterns.

  • Write and troubleshoot SQL-based queries and saved searches to support reporting, reconciliation, and data validation needs.

  • Address the growing backlog of Financial Systems support tickets, resolving configuration issues, report requests, and user access questions to reduce dependency on senior technical resources.

  • Build and execute test plans for releases across NetSuite and, as scope expands, Anaplan, Floqast, and ZipHQ.

  • Document technical designs, configurations, and runbooks to reduce single-person dependency on senior team members and support institutional knowledge retention.

  • Collaborate with third-party implementation partners (LIDD) to execute project deliverables and ensure quality of configuration and development work.

  • Contribute to IPO readiness efforts by supporting chart of accounts standardization, bank reconciliation automation, fixed asset module configuration, and financial reporting infrastructure.

  • Assist in developing a repeatable playbook for integrating future acquisitions into the NetSuite platform

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite, including configuration and administration.

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and SuiteScript (1. and/or 2. ), including user event scripts, suitelets, scheduled scripts, RESTlets, and workflow action scripts, or demonstrated ability to learn quickly with mentorship.

  • Foundational understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and NetSuite's underlying data model, including best practices for querying and reporting.

  • Experience with NetSuite data migration (CSV imports, data validation, entity setup).

  • Familiarity with NetSuite financial modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliation.

  • Exposure to system integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, middleware) and data formats (SQL, XML, JSON) is a plus.

  • Experience working in a multi-entity or multi-subsidiary NetSuite environment preferred.

  • NetSuite certifications (e. . , SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer) are a plus but not required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and Technology stakeholders, and to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
