AMT Intern

Shift: 6:30 AM-7:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $19.25 an hour

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician (AMT) is a highly trained individual with special skillsets that work in manufacturing environments. A multi-skilled maintenance technician has a broad foundation of theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of electrical and electronic circuits, robotics, instrumentation, programmable logic controllers, motor controls and hydraulics/pneumatics equipment

Schedule : 1st shift, 6:30am - 7:00pm.

NOTE: This is a part-time position working only Monday & Wednesday, while attending school.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities:

• Work in the Plant Services department

• Job shadow other Industrial Maintenance Techs

• Under direct supervision by another Tech, provide hands support and work with industrial machinery

• Attend meetings and calls as needed

• Follow GMP's (food safety) & location safety standards

• Other duties assigned by a tech or manager/supervisor

Ingredients Required for Your Success:

• High School Diploma required

• Currently enrolled in an AMT program

• Effective communication skills as measured through the submission of a written essay

• Commitment to work in a team and problem-solving environment

Physical Requirements:

Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements may vary but can include:

Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.

Performing consistent repetitive tasks.

Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.

Also be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary. More information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process
