Full job description

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Provide demonstrable competencies in reading, writing, spelling, and mathematics. 2. Pass the initial WV Service Personnel test for Aide. 3. Demonstrate verbal and written expression as well as the ability to follow both oral and written instructions. 4. Demonstrate the ability to appropriately manage young children through the use of positive behavioral management techniques. 5. Demonstrate a working knowledge of first aid. 6. Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. 7. Must obtain and maintain ECCAT certification per WVDE requirements (temporary/permanent certification requires completion of online courses and initial certification requires successful federal and state background checks). 8. Complete the initial/yearly Bus Training offered by the transportation department along with CPI training on nonviolent de-escalation and restraint techniques, CPR/AED, Food handlers, among others as directed by supervisor. SALARY:Salary based on experience and education level per MCS BOE salary schedule located at https://boe.mars.k12.wv.us/o/mcs/page/salary-schedules. Pay grade E-1.
