Your future role at a glance

Location: Evansville, IN

Facility: Ascension Medical Group Clinic

Department: Cardiac Cath Labs

Schedule: 4–9-hour shifts Monday-Friday | 7:30am - 5pm | Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital. Call required. Typical call schedule is 1 weekday night a week and every 4th weekend. This is subject to change.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Deliver critical procedural care by monitoring patient stability, managing conscious sedation, and tracking hemodynamic data throughout cardiac interventions.

  • Guide patient care journeys through thorough assessment, preparation, and continuous documentation to ensure high-quality treatment and accurate clinical records.

  • Direct physician communication before, during, and after interventional procedures to immediately address shifts in patient status and ensure real-time team alignment.

  • Maintain lab readiness by preparing advanced equipment and specialized medical supplies to drive smooth, safe procedural flow.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing required.

  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the Emergency Department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
