Summary

About the Position: This position is located at Travis Air Force Base, California. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Duties

  • Serve as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for personal/non­ personal, medical services and support contracts.
  • Plan, prepare and coordinate contract service requirements and establishes medical and non-medical, personal and non-personal service contracts.
  • Responsible for purchasing/procuring new and/or one-time service requests initiated by medical group personnel.
  • Monitor contract and contractor performance to assure compliance with contract requirements and manages and maintains all contract records.
  • Perform thorough market research, develops realistic government cost estimates, and develops all documents required to obtain required services.
  • Prepare and coordinate medical requirements for contract services and other commodities, for the Medical Treatment Network.
  • Utilize automated system, and other financial, reporting, and management systems for formal contract requests.
