Let's work together to achieve excellence! * DRC Lifeguard Recreation Salary Schedule: Category C; step 1: $13.37 Purpose Statement: Responsible for ensuring the safety of the facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Other duties may be assigned - Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to ensure the safety of patrons in the event of an emergency - Enforces all aquatic facility policies, rules and regulations in a positive and professional manner - Presents professional appearance an attitude at all times and maintains a high standard of customer service - Communicates any potentially dangerous elements of the facility to Aquatics Director - Recognizes and responds effectively to emergencies - Documents and reports all disciplinary problems and accidents to Aquatic Director - Inspects the aquatic facility on a daily schedule and reports unsafe conditions and equipment to supervisor - Completes records and reports - Attends all staff meetings and in-service trainings - Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by supervisor MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: CPR/1st Aid Certificate; Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate *To Apply: * ccsd1.org For additional information contact Nick DeWitt, Recreation Director, at (307) 358-4231 Equal Employment Opportunity: Converse County School District #1 is dedicated to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals based on job-related qualifications and ability to perform a job, without regard to age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, or disability.
