Principal Buyer

Full Time Principal Buyer Under direction, supervises and performs technical work involved in preparing proposals, orders, and reports, arranges for the purchase of equipment, materials, and supplies used by various departments, and may also supervise and perform the work involved in term contracts; knowledge of budget procedures, shipping & transportation details, and record keeping procedures; communicate and negotiate with vendors; and does related work as required. -Minimum of eight (8) years experience in large scale purchase of commodities, materials, equipment, and/or supplies or possession of a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
