FINAL RELEASE SPECIALIST- 1ST SHIFT - $22-$31/HR VulcanForms was founded in 2015 to develop the world?s first industrially scalable laser metal additive manufacturing solution. The company combines advanced additive manufacturing and precision machining to produce critical products for the aerospace, defense, medical, and other essential industries. About the Role: VulcanForms is seeking a Final Release Specialist II to support the review, completion, and final disposition of manufacturing records and documentation. This position ensures that batches are properly inspected, records are complete and accurate, and products meet applicable quality and regulatory requirements. This is an on-site, first-shift position in Devens, MA. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Key Responsibilities: - Manage the flow of work through the Final Release process, including the setup and review of technical records. - Assign and track work-in-progress records through completion. - Review manufacturing documentation, technical records, data entries, batch records, and final-release records for accuracy and completeness. - Verify that products have been inspected according to specifications before final disposition. - Ensure documentation complies with company procedures, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and applicable quality standards. - Identify and initiate nonconformances, deviations, CAPAs, and other quality events. - Communicate with appropriate personnel regarding missing documentation and required corrections. - Report quality-assurance variances, errors, and deviations to the Quality Assurance Department. - Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, Distribution, Engineering, Program Management, and other cross-functional teams. - Use ERP and electronic Quality Management System (QMS) platforms. - Attend weekly planning meetings as the Quality Assurance representative. - Establish priorities and turnaround times with Program Managers. - Develop and release controlled work instructions for the Final Release process. - Identify opportunities to improve Final Release processes and supporting documentation. - Work with stakeholders to resolve documentation and process issues. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical device manufacturing, Final Release, or Document Control. - Experience reviewing Device History Records (DHRs), batch records, and technical documentation. - Experience initiating, documenting, and tracking nonconformances, deviations, and CAPAs through closure. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. - Knowledge of ERP and electronic QMS platforms. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to identify documentation errors, missing information, and compliance issues. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple records, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. - Knowledge of standard operating procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. - Commitment to quality, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
