The group's main business is the implementation of mission critical digital mobile communication systems for Government & Public Safety Communications customers.Job DescriptionThe Field Engineering team plays a crucial role in enhancing public safety by deploying Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD), Mobile Applications, and Records Management Systems (RMS). They handle all on-premise hardware and equipment installations for government and municipal projects, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality and promote efficient standardization and reuse. Responsibilities: Managing and executing customer installation activities within agreed upon project timeframes. Verifying the complete functionality and readiness of systems for software deployment. Conducting routine system tasks like software updates, system upgrades, data backup/restoration, and troubleshooting. Gaining a deep understanding of public safety customer environments to ensure optimal product security and reliability. Demonstrating proficient software and IP networking skills, coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities. Deliver solutions that align with existing products, standard interfaces, and pre-defined procedures. Adhering to all corporate guidelines and completing required training, including CJIS compliance. Accurately logging billable hours for project work. Travel (50%-75%) will be required, depending on project and business needs.
