Production Manager – 2nd Shift

Location: Palatka, FL

Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 5:00 PM–5:00 AM

Lead the Team. Improve Operations. Drive Results.

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead multiple production areas within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership position focused on safety, productivity, throughput, quality, and continuous improvement .

The ideal candidate is a hands-on and strategic leader who can manage complex production processes, motivate teams, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and overall operational performance.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and oversee multiple production departments, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely operations.

  • Manage labor, workflow, and resources to meet production schedules and maximize throughput.

  • Partner with Production Scheduling to understand requirements, identify production gaps, and develop solutions.

  • Ensure teams execute established fabrication plans while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.

  • Drive Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout assigned areas.

  • Plan and prioritize work to ensure efficient use of labor and resources.

  • Balance safety, quality, productivity, timeliness, and cost when executing production schedules.

  • Lead, coach, and develop area leads and production employees.

  • Recruit, select, train, and onboard new employees.

  • Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

  • Address performance issues and partner with HR on employee relations and disciplinary matters when necessary.

  • Maintain accurate production and project documentation.

  • Communicate regularly with employees and encourage their input on problem-solving and process improvements.

  • Promote a strong safety-first culture by identifying and correcting unsafe behaviors.

  • Ensure EHS policies and procedures are followed throughout the department.

  • Train, coach, and monitor employees on safety expectations and performance.

What We're Looking For

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles and applications.

  • Experience leading production, manufacturing, or operations teams.

  • Strong knowledge of operational effectiveness and production management.

  • Ability to manage labor, schedules, priorities, and competing demands.

  • Familiarity with business and financial principles.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Highly organized, analytical, and results-oriented.

  • Proven ability to motivate teams and drive accountability.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Shift & Schedule

2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday

5:00 PM–5:00 AM

Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $114,995.00 per year
