We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking, and self-motivated Engineering Technician / Designer to join our Transportation practice for a full-time position in our Rochester, NY office. Duties include: * Generate highway, bridge and site plans along with the associated details. * Assist technical staff in specialized designs. * Provide MicroStation and InRoads support and analysis. Requirements * A.S. degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school in CAD or Drafting. * 2-5+ years of relevant experience is preferred. * Proficiency in the use of MicroStation and InRoads is preferred. * Knowledge in NYSDOT CAD standards and the basics of transportation design a plus. Estimated Pay Range: $28 32/hour.Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
