Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a CMA/LPN/RN for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: room patients, prepare patients for exam and/or procedures, prepare equipment and assists physician during treatment, exam and testing of patient, arrange for testing or hospital admission, and instruct patient regarding treatment plan, triage within scope of practice, incoming telephone calls, place orders as directed by physician/provider.

Education

  • Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Certification/License

  • Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA.

  • Possession of a State Practical Nurse license.

  • Possession of a State Registered Nurse license.

  • Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.

Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 7:30AM - 5:00PM

Thursday 7:30AM to Noon

Experience

  • Previous hospital or clinic experience preferred

Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
