Job Description

We are seeking a UX/UI Product Designer to support the evolution of the Gizmo Phone ecosystem and other strategic, high-visibility initiatives. This individual will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging experiences across mobile devices and digital touchpoints, with a strong focus on parental controls, safety features, and dual-audience experiences serving both teens and seniors. The ideal candidate combines strong UX thinking, visual design expertise, prototyping skills, and experience working closely with product and engineering teams to bring user-centered designs to life

  • Create high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and visual designs for mobile and digital experiences.
  • Design and prototype user experiences focused on parental controls, safety features, and device management workflows.
  • Map and optimize complex user journeys and user flows for multiple customer personas.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate designs and improve product experiences.
  • Develop and maintain scalable design system components and UI standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
  • Present design concepts, user flows, and prototypes to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Ensure consistency of visual identity and user experience across devices, applications, and digital touchpoints.
  • Incorporate user feedback and analytics into iterative design improvements.
  • Support multiple concurrent initiatives within the Gizmo Phone product portfolio and related strategic programs

Skills and Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, UI Design, or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work across mobile or digital products.
  • Expertise creating high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
  • Experience mapping complex user flows and customer journeys.
  • Strong understanding of UX research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Experience developing and maintaining design systems and reusable UI component libraries.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within Agile product development environments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience working closely with Product Management and Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Deep understanding of accessibility, usability, and mobile-first design principles.
