The EDI Technician is responsible for entering all requirements into our Oracle ERP system to produce accurate and timely packing slips for shipments. This position will assemble, file, and forward associated bills and labels.

This opportunity will be part of our 3rd Shift team!

What you will do for UGN:

  • Review and reconcile scheduled shipment information; translate incoming shipments.

  • Reconcile ASNs, making necessary corrections to file and generate ASNs from barcoded information.

  • Generate labels for shipments/production as needed.

  • Monitor shipment accuracy of all inbound materials.

  • Schedule pickups via portals.

  • Use Oracle reports and applicable screens to troubleshoot, research, identify and resolve EDI issues if able or escalate.

  • Communicate customer requirements daily as transmitted or as changes are identified.

  • Maintain departmental goal of 100% shipping performance accuracy.

  • Maintain 5S performance level.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you will bring to UGN:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 1+ years of related experience in shipping and receiving.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.

  • Experience with ERP Systems (Oracle) is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills and a customer service focus are required.

  • Ability to multitask, be organized and follow up on open issues.
