Job Description
- Modify and update existing drawings based on engineering markups and design requirements.
- Create detailed drawing packages for proposal and project deliverables.
- Develop conduit and wire run layouts, one-line diagrams, and system flow diagrams.
- Draft site layouts, exterior fencing plans, foundation drawings, and trenching details.
- Review and incorporate camera, sensor, and security device requirements into project drawings.
- Translate engineering sketches, redlines, and markups into professional construction and installation drawings.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and project teams throughout the proposal and design process.
Skills and Requirements
- 3+ years of AutoCAD drafting experience
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, conduit routing, and construction drawings.
- Experience creating technical drawings from engineering markups and design concepts.
- Ability to interpret and generate one-line diagrams and system flow diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to work during core hours of 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Central Time.
- Experience supporting physical security, surveillance, access control, or electronic security system projects.
- Knowledge of cameras, sensors, field distribution equipment, and related infrastructure.
- Experience using Microsoft Visio.
- Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
