A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Manufacturing Engineer supporting Valve Components, you will develop and maintain accurate SAP machining routings that enable safe, efficient, and high-quality production. You'll work closely with operators, CNC programmers, quality, scheduling, maintenance, and design engineering to translate engineering requirements into practical manufacturing processes. Through shop floor engagement, process analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives, you will identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support production goals. This role requires a hands-on approach to resolving manufacturing challenges while ensuring routing accuracy, process consistency, and operational excellence.
How You'll Make an Impact

Create, maintain,and continuously improve SAP machining routings, work instructions, laborstandards, cycle times, tooling requirements, and production documentation tosupport valve component manufacturing.

Partner withoperations, quality, CNC programming, maintenance, scheduling, and designengineering teams to ensure routings are executable, efficient, and alignedwith production requirements.

Analyzemanufacturing processes through shop-floor observation, cycle-time studies, andproduction data to identify opportunities for improved throughput, quality, andoperational efficiency.

Coordinatetooling, fixturing, gauging, and machine capability requirements to ensuresuccessful production execution and process stability.

Support newproduct introductions, process improvements, and capacity expansion projects bydelivering routing updates, manufacturing solutions, and technical support.

Train productionpersonnel on manufacturing processes, routing procedures, and best practiceswhile promoting standardization and continuous improvement across operations.
What You Bring
-
Bachelor's degreein Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering,or a related technical field.

2+ years ofexperience in machining, manufacturing engineering, process planning, routingdevelopment, or production support within a manufacturing environment.

Working knowledgeof CNC machining processes including turning, milling, drilling, grinding,workholding, tooling selection, and manufacturing troubleshooting.

Ability tointerpret engineering drawings, GD&T, material specifications, andinspection requirements and translate them into practical manufacturingprocesses and SAP routings.

Experiencecollaborating cross-functionally with operations, quality, maintenance,scheduling, CNC programmers, and engineering teams to solve manufacturingchallenges and improve performance.
