Production Supervisor
Location : Princeton, NJ, US
As a Production Supervisor, you'll be working to support the plant's day-to-day operations. You'll be supported by your team with possibilities to grow into a Manufacturing Professional and directly impact the quality of our
products - helping to improve real lives.
Your key responsibilities:

Driving a positive safety culture with the belief that all injuries can be prevented.

Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms needed to monitor production rates, yields, and quality, cost variances.

Identify areas for improvement in process, equipment, and training, ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed.

Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives, understand requirements, meet production specifications and deadlines.

Coordinate production activities with engineering, maintenance and quality control activities.

Utilize effective troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis to monitor, assess and resolve production issues with staff and equipment.

Supervise, coach, develop and evaluate performance of production personnel with a goal of cross training staff, ensuring that cGMP procedures and practices are maintained and followed.

You bring

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in engineering, operations management or similar field.
-
3 years supervisory experience, preferably in a chemical or perfumery/ food/beverage manufacturing environment.
-
Experience with LEAN Manufacturing and Sanitation experience, preferably in a perfumery and/or food/beverage facility.
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary range: $97,600-$118,000.
In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annuincentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits. All benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements.
