We are driven by a mission to connect the world for good and our people make it possible. Every single day, the creativity, dedication and genuine care for our communities are what push us forward and make this a truly special place to be.
The Impact You Will Have:
As the Military Talent Program Manager, you will lead QTS's military talent hiring program and help expand military-connected talent as a strategic pipeline for the organization.
You will serve as the primary internal advocate and subject matter expert for the program, partnering closely with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to identify opportunities where military talent can address workforce needs.
A significant part of your role will be internal business development. You will proactively engage leaders across QTS, understand their talent needs, present military hiring solutions, overcome barriers or misconceptions, and create excitement around engaging with our team to hire SkillBridge and military-spouse talent.
What You Will Do:
-
Develop and implement QTS's military talent hiring program, including SkillBridge, veteran, transitioning service member, and military-spouse talent initiatives.
-
Serve as the champion for military hiring, proactively engaging business leaders and hiring managers to demonstrate how military-connected talent can help solve their workforce needs.
-
Partner with hiring leaders to understand current and future workforce needs and identify roles, teams, and skill sets that align well with military-connected talent.
-
Create a strong internal pipeline of hiring-manager engagement by promoting the program, conducting targeted outreach, and generating opportunities for Talent Acquisition to introduce qualified military candidates.
-
Consult with leaders who are unfamiliar with SkillBridge or military talent, helping them understand transferable skills, program value, and potential talent solutions.
-
Partner closely with recruiters and Talent Acquisition leaders to translate business demand into actionable military talent pipelines and hiring strategies.
-
Develop and manage relationships with military talent organizations, transition programs, military installations, community partners, and other external organizations that can strengthen QTS's military talent pipeline.
-
Develop and maintain program goals, timelines, resources, and key performance indicators.
-
Track program performance, including leader engagement, hiring opportunities created, pipeline activity, candidate conversion, and hiring outcomes, and regularly present results and recommendations to leadership.
-
Partner on military-focused employer-branding and talent-marketing initiatives that strengthen awareness of QTS as an employer for veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses.
-
Continuously evaluate the program and recommend new partnerships, campaigns, processes, and opportunities that increase its reach and business impact.
What You Will Need to Be Successful:
-
A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Sales, Program Management, Military/Veteran Programs, or a related field.
-
Three or more years of experience in program management, talent acquisition, recruiting, business development, sales, military talent programs, or a similar role.
The Skills to Get You There:
-
Ability to understand business challenges, identify talent solutions, articulate value, and influence leaders to take action.
-
Demonstrated ability to take a program, service, or solution and build internal adoption and engagement around it.
-
Military recruiting, veteran hiring, SkillBridge, military-transition, or military-spouse employment experience is strongly preferred.
-
Experience working with transitioning service members, veterans, military spouses, or military/community partnerships is preferred.
-
Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to translate military hiring programs into clear business value.
-
Ability to build, execute, measure, and continuously improve a strategic talent program.
-
Comfortable proactively identifying opportunities, building relationships, generating internal demand, and driving adoption.
-
Understanding of recruiting processes, candidate pipelines, workforce planning, and hiring-manager engagement.
-
Understanding of military skills, transitioning service members, SkillBridge, veterans, and military-spouse talent populations.
-
Ability to effectively partner with Talent Acquisition, People Services, business leaders, hiring managers, and external organizations.
