Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description

We are looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a team in Deerfield Beach, Florida. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with hands-on bookkeeping experience who can manage day-to-day accounting support with accuracy and consistency. The role offers the opportunity to contribute across core accounting functions while adapting to various financial systems, including QuickBooks and other ERP platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

• Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries

• Process billing, invoices, payments, and collections

• Assist with payroll processing and related reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports

• Complete month-end and year-end close

• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

• Track expenses, cash flow, and account balances

• Assist with budgeting and financial reporting as needed

• Coordinate with outside accountants and tax professionals

• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies

Requirements

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred

• Strong QuickBooks experience required

• Experience with full-cycle bookkeeping

• Knowledge of AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
