This role performs surveying assistance, CAD drafting, construction observation, data collection, and general technical support for engineers and surveyors. Work includes a mix of outdoor fieldwork and indoor drafting/documentation tasks, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and hands-on project involvement. Key Responsibilities - Assist survey crews with field measurements, equipment setup, and data collection - Perform CAD drafting for engineering plans, exhibits, and construction documents - Conduct construction observation and document site conditions - Support municipal, utility, transportation, and land development projects - Read and interpret engineering plans, plats, and specifications - Maintain accurate field notes, digital files, and project documentation - Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers on daily tasks Career Path and Advancement\ With strong performance and continued professional development, this role provides a clear pathway to MG2As Engineering Tech 3 position.
